Starting from the Brent (Cedar Lake) access point, this route takes you past towering waterfalls, along challenging portages (get ready for leg day on Unicorn Hill), through backcountry gems like Catfish, Hogan and Philip Lakes and seems to offer some kind of special Algonquin moment around every corner. If you're lucky you might snag the Shangri-La campsite on Catfish Lake, or find that perfect swimming spot on Radiant. No matter what, this route will scratch that Algonquin itch and leave you wanting more.
